Student Resources

The physical and mental health benefits from Tai Chi and Qigong exercises come from regular and frequent practice.  We hope students combine practice during classes, with self-practice or self-organised group practice. In classes, instructors teach the moves in detail, including its applications and help to correct stances, steps, body movements and flow. Self-practice or group practice can help to consolidate what students learn in classes. To this end, we are making available tutorial videos of our curriculum for Chen-style, Yang-style and Qigong forms.

Please use the links below to watch the tutorial videos for Dao Lu’s community class curriculum. Where we cannot link to existing tutorial videos from the masters in China and the UK, we will provide links to demonstration videos (without tutorials) done by masters (sifu/shifu) and other teachers.

Dao Lu is grateful for the tutorial videos produced and made widely available by various Chinese and non-Chinese masters in these internal martial arts. We are especially grateful to Chen village Tai Chi masters for producing these videos.
