It was a wonderful and packed day for children, young people, families and volunteers coming together and immerse in the rich culture and traditions of the Lunar New Year.

Pimp Hall Nature Reserve is one of many beautiful green space in Waltham Forest. We run a women only Tai Chi class every Wednesday at 10am to 11am. Feel free to come along and try a free class without obligation.

Read more at: Women’s Tai Chi Corner in Pimp Hall Nature Reserve

This event was funded by London Borough of Waltham Forest. Councillor Vicky Ashworth, Cabinet Lead for Stronger Communities, came along for the celebration.

We were pleased to work with Valentina Quintano, who had a career background of a reportage photographer, captured these striking moments. Valentina is also a Yoga teacher at Kind Wolf Yoga. On Wednesdays after Tai Chi class, Kind Wolf Yoga runs a Yoga Based Movement Class for parents of under 3s (bring your baby with you!), 11.15-12.30, term time, pay what you can.

Look out this space for our celebration event of Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026!
