Come join us for a festive celebration of the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025! Get ready for a day filled with fun activities for the whole family. Don’t miss out on the chance to immerse yourself in the rich culture and traditions of the Lunar New Year. This event is funded by London Borough of Waltham Forest.
Wear a traditional Chinese dress (but keep warm) or simply something red!
- Talk + storystelling about the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025
- Craft workshops–Origami and craft fans, cranes and lanterns, and calligraphy. Take them home to decorate your room!
- Join in and try some fun “snake” movements and Fa Jin (power explosion) of Tai Chi
- Join in Qi Gong and have a gentle stretch
- Watch a performance of Tai Chi Fan-tastic
All activities suitable for ages 5+ . Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Must book in advance. Please specify morning attendance 11:00-13:00 or afternoon 14:00-16:00, due to limited indoor space in Pimp Hall Nature Reserve.
