This is our annual event now in its 4th year! We’ll deliver a Tai Chi performance and Join In session at 14:30 – 15:30 on both days over the weekend.
- Meet at 13:30 on Aveling Field/Sports & Activities Area on both days
- Tai Chi performance and join in at 14:30 – 15:30. We need as many as students to take part as possible to help showcase different levels and age range to the public!
- The specific performance site to be confirmed on the day by Barbican. As usual we will need to set up our own fence area and banners for safety and promotion. We need lots of pairs of hands to help with these tasks.
Clothing and other essentials – please wear Tai Chi white uniform and/or Dao Lu red (or white) T-shirt and black trousers. Please bring sun cream and water. If you carry weapons, they must be kept in their bags except for the performances and you must have your Dao Lu licence with you for security checks.
Entry – Dao Lu performers and volunteers will receive briefing on how to register for entry before the event.
Rehearsals – You must attend your regular sessions in the two weeks before for performance training.
