Tai Chi and Labour of Love Celebration

February 13, 2015 by bootleweb

Sunday 1st March, 2-4 pm, London Legacy Development Corporation, Stratford Place, London E20 1EJ

8 girls and women from Dao Lu Tuesdays Tai Chi Breeze class, at an incredible short notice, took part in the Labour of Love art project to talk about Tai Chi and how Tai Chi influenced their lives. These stories will be published on 1 March in a limted-edition publication.

Caroline Jupp, the artist-in-residence at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park who led the project, between her interviews, had a go at Tai Chi and loved it!

Labour of Love has been commissioned as part of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park’s Local Programme which aims to support local artists, organisations and audience connect with the Park and shape its future. You can read some life stories captured under the Labour of Love here.
