Come join us for a festive celebration of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026!

Would you like knowing more about the traditions and fun activities of the Lunar New Year? Don’t miss out on the chance to immerse yourself with Dao Lu on Saturday 11 April 2026 to celebrate the Year of the Fire Horse!

This event is funded by London Borough of Waltham Forest.

Wear a traditional Chinese dress (but keep warm) or simply something red!

  • Storystelling about the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026
  • Horse themed craft workshops. Take them home to decorate your room!
  • Join in and try some fun “horse” movements in Tai Chi 
  • Watch a mini performance of Chinese dance, Tai Chi and Qi Gong

All activities suitable for ages 5+ . Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Must book in advance. Please specify morning attendance 10:30-12:30 or afternoon 13:30-15:30.
