The inaugural Dao Lu Awards will be on Saturday, 8th February 2020. This is a time for students across all classes to come together, celebrate our achievements and showcase our Tai Chi learning. It will also include the Dao Lu AGM and celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Rat. All are invited including families, friends and supporters.

  • Saturday 8th February 2020, 5pm to 7.30pm
  • Set up at 4.30-5pm, if you would like to help
  • Foster Hall/St Barnabas Church Hall, Wellesley Road, London E17 8JZ
  • Everyone to bring a food item – vegan, Chinese New Year themed if possible, for sharing. Dao Lu will contribute food as well.
  • FREE entry

Programme

16:30 – Doors open for volunteers, setting up tables, decorations etc
17:00 – People arrive, tea/coffee available
17:15 – Introduction
17:30 – Certificates by category
17:50 – Performances (students & instructors)
18:15 – Socialising, refreshments, group photos and registration forms
18:45 – AGM (see below)
19:00 – Open floor discussion
19:15 – Close, volunteers stay to clear up

Clothing and other essentials – please wear Tai Chi uniform and/or Dao Lu T-shirt and black trousers. If you carry weapons, they must be kept in their bags except for the performances. Keep your student licence in your weapon bag.
