We want to thank you all for the tremendous contribution you gave to Wood Street’s, Love your High street and Party on the Plaza, event on Saturday.
The community buzz and the absolute enjoyment on the faces of just about everyone on the Plaza and in the street was simply amazing.
The shops were heaving with people and the indoor market reported increased footfall especially when it rained which was the silver lining in the clouds for them.
The entertainment programme was worthy of any primetime television slot and the side show attractions and stalls very popular with children and adults alike.
We understand how many hours of frustration and stress must have gone into preparing for this magnificent event ,you should be justifiably proud of what you have given to our community and we thank you all on behalf of all Wood Street Residents, their families and friends .
