Celebrate World Tai Chi Day 2013 on Saturday 27 April
Hope you are all enjoying the glorious Spring weather so far this week. It looks the weather will be ok on Saturday. So we will be going outdoor in Lloyd Park to do our small part and celebrate World Tai Chi Day 2013: One World, One Breath. We will meet at 8.50 am on the green area next to the William Morris Gallery for our Tai Chi class and a mini demo at 9 -10 am. The Kungfu classes will run as usual at 10 to 12 in Lloyd Park following the Tai Chi class, so will Tai Chi for women only class at 12.30 pm.
We will not be alone. On the last Saturday of April each year at 10 am, tens of thousands people in hundreds of cities, in over 70 nations, come together to breath together under one blue sky …

Early media articles
Dao Lu was set up on the work that Shifu Mark Browne and many other students and volunteers had been doing for years – training and promoting Tai Chi and Shaolin Kungfu in the heart of the local community through various funding streams and fund raising activities. Here are three examples of our work featured in the Guardian and other local media such as The Friends of William Morris Gallery:
Fifty take part in Tai Chi in Lloyd Park
A Kungfu master teaches free classes to help borough’s children and parents get fit
Tai Chi helps funding raising for the William Morris Gallery Development Project
