About I AM TEAM GB
Dao Lu is supporting a new national campaign, I Am Team GB, which is being led by Team GB, The National Lottery, ITV, UK Sport and Join in designed to get hundreds of thousands of people across the nation to kick off the bank holiday weekend by getting out and getting active. The campaign is inviting everyone around the country to be part of the nation’s biggest ever sports day and celebrate National Lottery players’ support of Team GB’s athletes.
The campaign is designed to be inclusive, with any club or group invited to host a free I Am Team GB event. This is about more than just Olympic sport – all disability and non-disability sports and physical activity groups are invited to raise their club or organisation’s profile and open their doors to new participants in their sport or activity.
Dao Lu will therefore be hosting a FREE Tai Chi Demo & Join In as part of this national campaign at the Pimp Hall Launch Party on 27 August!
Members of the public can search for events taking place as part of I Am Team GB and sign up at www.iamteamgb.com
Dao Lu has been awarded a grant by the Mayor of London FreeSport Summer 2016!
This project is free for people affected by dementia, family carers and support workers. Tai Chi has many health benefits including improving balance and coordination, calming your mind and relieving stress in a beautiful and quiet natural setting.
