Back in the game: Sportivate FREE Tai Chi for young people aged 19-25

This project aims to provide 8 FREE Tai Chi sessions to young people aged 19-25 to help them to try a new physical activity and/or go back to a more active lifestyle in their busy lives.

  • Aged 19-25
  • Lives or studies in the London Borough of Waltham Forest
  • Can choose any Dao Lu weekly Tai Chi session to attend, 2 sessions a week
  • To complete 8 FREE sessions by the end of March, if possible
  • Venues vary. You can look at the Dao Lu weekly class timetable and decide which session is best for you.

Happy Women's DaySaturday 5th March, 11.45 – 12.45, Walthamstow Leisure Centre, 243 Markhouse Road, London E17 8RN

Many free workshops throughout the day for girls and women to try out. Here is an event poster and the activity timetable (subject to minimal change). There is a free crèche available from 9am to 2pm, on a first come first served basis.

We are continuing to play our small part to support This Girl Can campaign headed by Sports England to encourage more girls and women taking part in physical activities and/or becoming female coaches.
