Walthamstow Woodcraft Folk – opening day

September 10, 2014 by bootleweb

To celebrate finding a new home, Walthamstow Woodcraft Folk are hosting an open day on Sunday 14th September, 11 am to 4 pm, at their new home (to be called the Higham Hill Hub). Everyone is welcome to see what they’ve planned for the space!

We did a Tai Chi taster session for Woodcraft Folk young people in early July in Lloyd Park. You can see a photo here. They loved Tai Chi! To show our support, we’ll be hosting a Tai Chi session on the day:

12.00 – 12.30            Have a go at Tai Chi
12.30 – 12.50            Dao Lu Tai Chi mini performance
12.50 – 13.00            Leaflets / Q & A
Venue: Higham Hill Hub, Higham Hill Park & the Old Bowls Club, E17
(Higham Hill Park was also known as Higham Hill Recreation Ground)

Note it’s not the white building that you’ll find easily. Behind that building is a side-gate opening into the old bowling club, which is now the Woodcraft Folk hall.

Higham Hill Huddle

Please do come along to lend your support to community groups like Dao Lu and Woodcraft Folk!
